That's a valid point, but I don't think it'll matter if he called the fuzz already. It is a little bit disturbing to see that with a landlord, I've had experiences where my landlord had gone into my house unoccupied and without notice. He was mental, and now he's suing us after our departure prior to the lease's expiration. It was not the only offense with this guy either. Personally, it was severely egregious (as were the other incidents) and elevated to a level that he had broken the lease agreement in it's entirety. Other offenses included failure to provide necessary services, failure to make repairs including a window frame that was gaping wide open in the middle of the winter. We had moved at the end of the summer and were promised that it would be fixed forthright. Got all the pics and witnesses I need, but the damage has been done. It was hell and my daughter was an infant/ toddler at the time. Point being (yeah, I have one) that even with laws and ordinances in place, people can and do ignore them. And the outcome can only have restitution made in partiality, all things considered. Not to mention not all states and municipalities have such protections in place. If he did violate something, it may be too late to salvage your babies, but do something about it if it's within your rights. I am glad you, Seaweed11, are aware of these things and abide. It's more rare than you may know. I think there should be classes mandated prior to being credentialed to lease an apartment, it would provide for a more civil understanding in some cases. Not everyone undertakes these things with the diligence you appear to.

I always have rent paid early and never had any issues before. He didnt seem to say much at all.. And i was talking to him on the phone tonight actually to make sure i could use the water now and he said it was no problem. He didnt mention anything at all.. So i think im good.. I moved ALL my weed accessories except a bong and the cabnit itself to my storage unit up the road. Im going there shortly to harvest my plant which is about 2 weeks early.. lol but i cant risk it and i have no where else to grow it.. Im gonna just take what i can get and wait a while before i grow again... My girlfriend and i bought a house and we move in like a month so ill just be waiting till im all settled in there before i start again lol... Still have not heard from the police or anything like that so i think(hope) im cleared.

Ur good... But i'd still consider finding an alternative home for the girls if something else comes up... If they come back and do some more work in upcoming days, and the landlord goes into the basement again.. One time and he might not even notice, especially if he doesn't know anything about growing or marijuana.. But after a second time, he might notice it and start to wonder... Remember, someone who doesn't smoke pot may smell a slight odor of pot on a plant as compared to a regular smoker that probably wouldn't even notice the same smell...

Be carefull, you can never be to safe when it comes to growing marijuana, especially if you're not in a place that allows growing for people that have a medical marijuana perscription... It's not worth going to jail for a nice high... As good as it is, it's not worth giving up your freedom... Move it if you have to... Just be smart...

Good Luck.. keep your eyes open...

He could have notified the police and they are getting a warrant right this second, I wouldn't risk it.
I'm also trying to find a new place, my landlords are fucking ASSHOLES and do not notify us before coming onto the property.
They're just very mean people. I'm trying to get a place that has an outdoor shed and all that, I'll have a roommate to split the bill with as well.
Wish me luck! ;)

And good luck to you as well.
