man i am sorry to hear this. i just got back in town and sat down to RIU. i have not read through everything yet. i did however see the videos. all the shit that has been reported about this is all bull shit. the street value, the targeting kids, and all the other lies and bullshit so far. man if there is something i could do i will.
we should start some kind of phone calling campaigne for this dude. everybody on this site should call that damn reporter and news station, and ask for a retraction on what has been said. this was not a sophisticated grow. 27 plants will not fetch $25000 on the street, i am sure you would not be stupid enough to sell to kids. this is the shit that is going to hang you man. all these lies and over stating of facts there will be no way a prosecutor is going to be able to let a big time dope grower, who sell to children off easy.

Life is a bitch for sure man,you want to trade charges with me.I got 3 firearms charges,production of over 500 plants.
I allegedly overacted when a crackhead was scoping out my house.Should have dealt with it a little better,but that's life.

I have rheumatoid arthritis which at times hits hard,I smoke
to help fight the chronic pain.I am also an 18 yr survivor of a head injury suffered in an MVA.I had to rebuild my life,it sure isn't the same to say the least.From what I have heard,if I was in your state with these charges,my family would never see me again
as I would die in prison without the ability to self medicate when needed.
I feel for you young fella,history of 2 felonies before 25 yrs old

Man this story angers me to no end. How destructive is sending this guy to jail going to be on his family? You'd get less time in jail for drink driving and killing another motorist - has this guy killed anyone? is marijuana a dangerous substance? has anyone ever died/OD'd on marijuana? NO! why the FUCK did we ever allow governments to have this much power over ITS citizens. The PEOPLE are supposed to be the power - that's how a republic is supposed to work. Instead, laws get passed everyday without any consultation with the people, that allow governments more and more power which erodes more and more of our civil liberties. Sigh.

i am new here. i have been lurking here for about 6 months. aside from the occasional idiot trying to start some shit, (every site has them) i have found the people here to be pretty amazing. just normal everyday people coming together to share their knowledge, and talk about this plant we all hold with high regards. i come here everyday, if i am around a computer. and i have seen you folks are addicted as well. i have talked to people here from all different views. some who are very intelligent and understand the real value of marijuana, understand there are morals that come with the use of marijuana. i have also talked to the ignorant people who really dont understand there attitude and actions are exactly the reason why some who dont smoke think we are a bunch of burn outs. (like the moron letting your 13 year old grow and smoke, you idiot!!!)
so now that we have established that this is somewhat of a community, one that shares the same line of thinking about a substance that is misunderstood. and some who hopefully one day they will come across that nug that takes them to a place where they just might have a epiphany and understand why he needs to change his thought process. then maybe the day will come when we dont have to hid in our closet to smoke our weed.
it is my opinion that with community's like this one, if we band together and educate the smoking idiots who just don't understand, and the non-smoker who don't care to understand, or seen to many news reports like the one at the begining of this thread, then maybe someday soon joe average wont be looking at losing his family, home, freedom. for growing a little weed.
listed below is 30 minutes of my time spent researching these news reports. 30 miniutes would equate to about .000000001% of the time i have spent here on RUI.
i will be emailing and placing phone calls to these people. i hope some of you also do this. take .0000001% of your time and try to make a difference in something that you believe in so much that you joined a community here at RIU. it could make a difference. maybe it wont. but what else to you have to do? post pics of your plants.
what really pisses me off about the pot smoking community is the ones that are cowards. if every pot head stood up, and spoke up about there views on pot then we would would not be here right now. it would be legalized throughout the country. ok so you don't want to lose your job, or the respect of the non-pot smokers. well you been stealth thus far. right? support your community, your beliefs, anyway you can. stand up and scream, or stealthy voice your opinions.

right on man . i was just about to hook you all up with those numbers, i have called those stations and the reporter had no clue i was the one she was talking about and when i told her who i was she hung up on me. scared probably. no i have never killed anyone and the way the reports and police act around here when they find the slightest amount of herb u think i killed a dude. i can use all the help i can get . a bunch of people on here are offering visa gift cards which help me buy food for my baby since im dead broke. all my extra cash went into this project hoping for a better outcome. and no it wasnt for kids at schools, i dont fuck with kids cuz their mouths are bigger than their pockets, if anything itd be to my best homie who has enough flow to take it all in one swoop. and even if there was 25k in herb he would snatch it all up. i just got a 20 buck money order yesterday from a dude in ID thanks bro! spent that on formula for my lil angel.
