Burning up. Help!

I am growing in a small space, a laundry hamper to be exact. I have three 23W (100W equiv) CFLs hanging from the top. They are about a foot from the plant. My plant is burning up in there. Almost all of the leaves have brown spots to some extent on them. The tops are curled up. It looks very nasty. Are there any sugestions to how I can lower temps? I am not even sure if it is the temp (although it does get warm in there, but it is hot outside in the sun), but just the CFLs constantly radiating directly on the plant. Any sugestions? Maybe add reflectors but instead of pointing them at the plant, point them at the sides of the hamper lined with white paper?

You need to be able to cool the space you are growing in or you will fry them.
No fans = dead plants.
Build a proper box out of plywood and ventilate it.
Or make holes in your laundry basket and install computer fans, one for intake and one for outake the intake fan should be at the bottom of your grow area the outake fan should be around the same level as the lights for the best results.:blsmoke:
