Burmese Kush, Terrible Strain to Grow.

I've had countless bad experiences with Burmese Kush and it herming. A few months ago I had one growing that looked to be a promising yield, it was in 5 weeks of flowering, I had it LST'd and I wake up one morning to find it hermied. I currently have one that is a month into flowering and the way it grew was terrible it's just going to be one big nugget.

It had only two side branches, I didn't top it, but one of the side branches already hermied so I chopped that off to prevent it spreading to the rest of the plant, the rest of the plant is looking fine for now, like I said the last one I had hermied bad in week 5.

I also have one that is in veg right now and looking quite good, should be flowering soon it is already taller than the one that is a month into flowering.

I was just wondering if anyone else had experiences with this strain? it has really bad genetics it seems.

From the picture, could you tell what could be wrong with it? It lost most of it's leaves and the stalk has red lining going up it, I think it's magnesium deficiency but not sure, been feeding it cal-mag and tiger bloom nutes for the past 2 weeks of watering and it's still there.

ok, was that a clone or a seed? im just curious. also, how long did u veg that for? it looks like you maybe you cut the veg period too short.
and those orange/rusty spots mean you need to add some cal/mag

good luck!

It was vegged for 2 weeks under a CFL then transplanted and vegged for another 2 weeks in a 240w LED tent then put under a 600w HPS light to start flowering.

I give it 2 tsp of calmag every watering, but it doesnt seem to be making a difference

My BuKu was also a letdown, sposed to finish in9weeks ish and after 12 still wasnt plumping up or doing much at all, yielded less than an ounce of very straggly bud and threw constantly new nanas out on the lower parts of the plant after 3rd week flowering
DSCF3485.jpgMy buku after 12 wks under a 600 HPS :-(

Also tasted like shit, just a combination of very bad mixing tastes with a slight hint of dog/pig shit, so far I have grown 4 of T.H.seeds strains and all of them were a bit of a letdown tbh just all very bland taste and stone

I'm thinking of chopping it early, the plant does not seem to be putting on any more weight. I let it dry out fully and then flushed it with Sledgehammer. After it dries out again (about a week, doesn't drink very much.) gonna kill it.

how long did it flowered? really curious, because in their page it's said that flowering takes maximum 8 weeks, but now i'm confused when I read this article

i'm growing BUKU right now, i'm not expecting a large yeild but i've heard its good quality smoke, also its genetics are such that it would work for a sog grow i'm curious how someone tried to lst the plant its not really the strain for that type of training. Some of your plants just look terrible from the pics so i'm hoping with good care it will cut down the chance of a hermi, i'll let ya know.

surprised to see so many negatives about this plant, my seed germed no problem, looked to have a good strong tap root and after a day in the soil its already pushing up, so good signs so far

I been growing BuKu for over a year now, it's a favorite of mine. Great smoke that has a sweet skunk like flavor. I was getting a ounce and a half per plant under a 400 hps. Using FFOF as soil and Roots organics liquid buddah bloom, jamaican bat guano, and cal-mag for nutes.
