Buried Treasure

My buddy and I were growing in a location and the land owner had second thoughts and asked us to leave after a month. So plants loaded in our tiny 15ft trailer, we left and ended up in a Walmart parking lot. We scoured Craigslist hoping to find a secure location with a better landlord..... Did I mention we were totally ass broke with no money to even offer a new landlord?

After just a single evening of searching, we found Moe. Moes in his 60's. He opened his house and greenhouse to us. For the last month, Moe has been totally awesome. In exchange for rent, we do odd work around this 1900s building for Moe. Most of the work we do benefits us and is nothing moe would have done if we weren't here. The old building was a Bar in the 60-70s. There's running water in the building but no toilet. We installed a toilet a week or so ago. Well, it backed up. The building being so old who knows what the problem could be. We started working on the plumbing this morning. While tracking the disposal from the kitchen sink to the bathroom, we had to remove the floor boards.

To our surprise, there were containers filled with old silver coins hidden under the floor. Now, if we hadn't found Moe, our grow would have ended a month ago. Moe barely scrapes by on his limited income and has been having finically difficulties for a while now. I'm so happy Karma could repay him for all he has done for us.. Most the coins predate the 60's. There's about 50 silver dollars ranging from 1899-1922. Tons of quarters dimes nickels half dollars. Even $30 in bills. Most from 1963 and a few from 1969.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend as much as we did!
