the spiral changes color as you smoke out if it. It is hallow and connected to the bowl. Can be cleaned through choke. .. yes I thought of that..
And if you can't tell I go on spurts where I make the same style things tilll I get sick of it. So expect a lot of reversal heady pieces to be showing up in the near future..

Got em.. be making it tomarrow really designed my workspace. Had to make a lathe station and run exhaust.. using a 6" inline fan with a c.a.p. dimmer switch... lol. Was gonna buy a magnum xxl to run for a hood above me but decided to make a custom one cheaper

Torch is hidden behind the chair.. right now I'm putting a big fan in the window. I'm having a custom 3x4 hood made and installing it Sunday.
