Hi everyone, I am new to growing and have a few plants I am trying to grow. Some strawberry cough, white zombie and another strain( i forget,lol). My plants are at different stages and the oldest is 5-6 weeks, she will be going to bud soon, the others are clones about 2 weeks old. All of the plants have been under 4 ft flourecents up to now and doing ok, but, I just got a MH fixture and another coming and I want to switch to get quicker growth. I have seen HPS conversions to go in MH fixtures so my question finally is, What type of MH bulbs do I need, the fixtures have a clear 250watt bulb now, do i need a growing type or are these ok for veg. Also for bud time the hps bulb what kind? special bulb or growing style? Thanks and I hope it isn't too long winded.

yeah throw em under the regular MH bulb it will still be miles better than the flouros... expect aggressive leaf and root growth, I love my mh light.

you can buy expensive mh bulbs but they will only increase your yield by a little bit... it is already quite strong.

you can also switch back to MH the last week of flowering for heavy resin production

Awesome, thanks for replying so fast. When I go to the High Pressure sodium, do I need a true growing bulb or any standard bulb?
