Built a new closet under the stairs,got sum $ to start...now wut?

Ok finally theres i pic of my closet.Now that i look at it,its alot smaller then i thought.But still def. enough room for a grow op.

Yeah it looks great. And you can start with CFL's but unless you have a shitload of them you're not going to be getting much when you flower. To grow 10 plants I would at least get a 400w hps.

Ok HPS is a (high pressure soduim bulb) rigth?

So where would i purchase one of these (home depot,or wal-mart)?

And how much do u think ill have to spend?

htgsupply.com will be your best bet. And yes, HPS is high pressure sodium. I would recommend just growing them right on the ground.

You could use it for the whole thing, but I would veg with cfl's at first to save money and life on your HPS bulb. and htgsupply.com is the best place to get grow equipment.

Yes. Get the 42w bulbs and some multi-socket extensions. Check your area for a hydroponic store. I'm sure there's one near you.

So how many 42W per plant?

the multi socket extention,this a long wire with mulitpul sockets for many bulbs.Does it just have a plug on the end so i can just plug it into the wall?

you want at least 3 lights on each plant for best results

so id be better off only doin like 4 or 5 plants.Thats 12-15 bulbs rite there alone.

do know how many sockets are on one strand of wire?

and do they sell these at home dopet?

just one of those 42 watter per plant will be fine for veg. I veg all my plants with CFL's. The bulbs are around $7 and the multi light sockets are around $10-$20 at Home Depot. But you'll also need to get a socket with a cord on it from an old lamp or buy one at home depot.
