Do you think this one should be decent? I saw it has an auto restart Incase a power issue.
it also has to be 5 degrees outside it says as the minimum. So I guess we’ll see aside from those two things, I wasn’t really sure what to look for.
Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

Advantage 3rd Gen 18,000 BTU 1.5 Ton Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner and Heat Pump 230V/60Hz

those mr cool units are easy to put in i did a 24,000btu one last year at my place wish i could have afforded a mitsubishi but for what its worth there easy to put in and have pre charged lines i never put one in befor and it was a piece of cake as long as your a fairly handy guy should be okay to put one in. it took me a few hours to install i had to tear down part of a ceiling so i could punch a 4" hole in the side of the basements rim joist to get the lines in. they come with a tv remote to control it and a little usb dongle as an addon so you can control it with your iphone when your not infront of it. dont forget to order a stand or something to mount it on the side of the building.

I wasn't able to get a Mitsubishi in time so I had to settle with a Samsung max the 3ton. So far so good.

samsung is good to go imo. one of my splits is a samsung, 3 years 0 issues. i know 2 other spots that run 2+ of the same unit, no problems over there either
