Building a silent indoor tent (sketch included), need help with ducting and setup!

I'm living in a small flat, so 100% no options to exhaust outside without being seen. And i don't wanna take any risk exhausting to the main air channel that is above the stove, that could cause some problems to the whole house. So i have to exhaust inside. Cooling is not gonna be a problem because i live in a pretty cold climate here at the north, espically now when autumn and winter is coming. I don't think the output heat is gonna make any difference at all, a tiny heater would actually do good in the colder months! Just hiding the exhaust behind it and possibly even getting the exhaust sound lower is just added bonus.

Well you will have some free heating this winter, I never have to run my furnace in the winter unless it gets super cold and windy, like -5F. Basically with my whole basement being a grow I have radiant floor heating lol.

Where i live heating in the winter is always appreciated, it can get below -22F (-30C) in the winter months and around +90F (+30C) in the summer, so everything must be built around those numbers. Well rarely i need to even mess with the numbers when we got so insulated and heated up buildings. Usually the bigger problem is cooling in the summer, i don't have a cooling unit that would do anything, so temperatures easily raise to 79F (26C) inside my house. Well it shouldn't ever be a death sentence to my plants, just need to have all table fans running around and the "central air unit" full on so air circulates well. The central unit is good in that sense too that it pulls all air inside so it creates a negative pressure in my house, no need to worry about any smells going outside my apartment.

Double skinned cabinet? Almost missed this, could you possibly show it in action and how you did it? Also Interested in how did you connnect it to everything else. Thanks for all help!

Does anyone know if one size bigger ducting after the fan to exhaust air would be the best option? If it reduces sound and has no negative sides then i would do it. Currently i have some matching ducting with my gear but there's definitely sound pollution coming out from the exhaust.

Also the other option i'm looking if you can reduce the outcoming airflow even further with some kind "muffler" or something.

Hey blossom, i'm planning to do a 2x2 grow tent in my small apartment room so i need everything to be as quiet as possible so i can sleep with the tent at the foot of my bed, i'm planning on buying this fan because it's probably the best airflow with the least amount of noise. Also it comes with extra sensors that act accordingly with the fan in response to temp and humidity changes. The big downside is $$ but I assume indoor growing is a lot about consistency and this seems to be leagues ahead of the other inline fans. cheers

Yeah i would concider buying that if i saw someone testing the speeds with a desibel meter, how much speed each mode puts out and how loud it gets with ducting and a carbon filter on. I couldn't find anyone really testing it. But all the extra options with it sound good.

Those things seems to be way out my league, i'm just growing in a 4x4 tent. Would have to see them actually slowed down and tested properly with everything in place so it's realistic. I already have a fan for my first grow so i'm going with it, just looking for tips how to get the sound as much down as possible.

do you realize how much humidity a 4x4 tent usually generates? venting into a small flat is a bad idea, you‘ll gonna grow mold soon...

My friend was totally fine with all of his grows, besides that winter is coming and temps/humidity are gonna lower.
