ok so i built a cab outside dimensions are 41.5"W x 46.5"H x 18.5"D now flower chamber is 45.5x24"x17.5" and veg is like 17.5"x17.5"x18" there about and filter chamber is part of veg have a shelf above veg for fan and filter the shelf is like 10 or 12 inches wide enough to hold filter and fan so no need to cut hole in that panel. fan filter setup is 6" inline fan with CAN 30 i want to say the small one they sell like 12x14" i think anyways, have to filter around 200 cfm to have enough contact time with the filter to work so that's roughly changing the air 25 times a min is this bad? if so i can throttle it down more with my fan controller. now i have a 6in cool tube going to try to fit it in there with a 250 hps system have like 3 inches extra i think for the exhaust pipe cuz the straight 6 is like 20.5 inches long but i can cut down the aluminum on one side of the cool tube to gain like 3 inches because i cannot hookup cool tube to outside air, i will only have a intake in the chamber and then the cool tube will suck the air from the chamber so i don't need that flange on one side also using a cool tube because i had one given to me just no ballast using a 250w hps because i only have not even 2 square feet of space so 33000 lumens should be plenty. each chamber will have a 4 inch intake as they say to make sure you have 1.5 times the size of exhaust for intake correct? i have veg lined with 23 w cfls 4 of them only need to keep one or two moms and clone every now and then tho i clone in straight water no hormones or anything just water and i change it everyday to every other when i clone its easy cheap and saves space as i can clone like 3 plants per solo cup more if i want to break the cd getting the clones out i use them to help keep light out of the root zone and keeps plants above water. if im missing something or you want to know more just ask and thanks for any help in advance
Also i wanted to add that i will be doing sog with 5.5in square pots 12 plants in flower chamber at a time looking for single colas on each plants flowering straight from rooting no veg just enough to see that they have recovered and are growing and not stationary still

Would you want to read that?

Try using some grammar

Cut out the bullshit, post the facts only

And bullet out your Q's (like so^^^^)

after the 1st 2 sentences i wrote you off as a ferret on meth (sorry, youre all over the place tho)

i was stoned as hell and have read to many post were people ask for more info and i guess i wanted to get it right the first time. Well i will have this up and running soon and should have pics coming once the cab is in place and i get the 250w hps friday. One of my questions was if it was true to have 1.5 times size intake as exhaust and the second one was should i run my 400cfm fan at less then half speed? i have to run at no more than half because of my filter and contact time to the carbon for efficient scrubbing

45.5" times 17.5" equals 796.25" divided by 144" (a Sq foot) equals about 5.5 Sq Ft.

If i fucked that ^^^ up please tell me.

Assuming i can do the math you got about 11 cubic feet in your flowering chamber, from what I remember you need to be able to clear the space once every few minutes. (if thats right) I would turn it down to 100cfm and adjust from there as YOU deem needed ... like if its whining or making funny noises/smells

A 4" hole is pretty big is it passive intake? I dont think that much is necessary, maybe two 1.5 holes, but you definetly want negative pressure (more going out, than coming in) inyour chamber otherwise your scrubber isnt doing its job.

You can scour the net for advice but the best way to learn this shit is to do it and adjust when needed

Cant wait for the pics Good Luck!!!

https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/6592-get-harvest-every-2-weeks.html reference that link for SOG paying attn to his heights - you say 24" for your flowering chamber? and you mention sog for your grow -- i think you might want to look into going scrog/LSTing, or making your F chamber taller to accomodate lights plus pots.

if you dont find it he flowers right out of clone, and finishes at 36". Then again hes going hydro w/1000w giving ... faster/better growth? anyway its worth a look if you havent seen it.
