Bugs indoors?

I recently discovered a bug burrowing through my soil inside my indoor grow. I wish i could've taken a picture of it but it looked like a dark maroon centipede almost transparent, with a pincer on its tail. I seen it and tried to get it but it burrowed on me and i didn't see it again until two days later. I smashed it and haven't seen any more. can anyone identify that bug and is it harmful to my girls

You are the one who saw it twice not us. Google image search centipede and see if anything looks similar.
