will the sand trick work on these they dont swim just float to the top and swirl around as the water drains could they be springtails

i have tried sand but my experience is they go right into it, im not sure if they still lay eggs? They also go into the bottom holes of the pots

did you ever find out if they are fungus gnats i think they are smaller

i think they is either fungus gnats or spring tails ive covered them in sand i hope that cures them could fungus gnats/springtails caused by overwatering thanks people

then its them im sure ive been water too much yet the plant feels light when i lift her up and the soil is dry when iwater normally every 3 days i am gonna wait til the plant starts drooping b4 i water again is that a good idea

negatory good buddy! springtails are something that have been with us for gazillons of years. not caused by over-watering. if you have them in your plants, you have them in your house, that's probably where they came from. they come into the house via your feet. they're actually a beneficial. they eat dead/rotting plant matter.

maybe it's springtails. any jumping ? Yes m8 i now on round 2 with these and they are jumping are they springtails what can i do to kill em also when i water my plants she was droopy so i gave her some more water and it just pissed out the bottom HELP
