yeah, that or aphids. you see trails? all that moist foliage around is lovely for those little bastards.

if it's snails, take a strip of copper tape and put it around the rim of your pot and they won't crawl over it. if that doesn't work, they have this really cheap shit that is made of some phosphate that they eat and then die .. but it's not bad for plants, soil, or other animals. I remembered now - sluggo.

yeah. it's outdoors. and my other plants look fine & there only about a foot away. i think the other ones are indica & this is a sativa? they are all bag seeds.

i dunno. snails can be picky. this is the time of year for them though. Once it starts to get a bit warmer and drier, they fuck off. this time of year they eat the shit out of my lettuce, spinach, and anything else small and tasty.

I've never seen anything around or on my plants. I lost 2 due to slugs but thats the only thing I'm sure of.

If there is no slime trail, it is not slugs or snails. So...really I have no idea. Did it rain before those shots? Cause I dont see a slime trail. I don't know much about Aphids, so can't comment on that. I would put a cup of beer next to your plant. Snails love it. If anything, check it in a few days and see if you trapped some snails.

P.S. The snails drown in the beer and die. So if you're not cool with killing snails, don't use this method.

i used to hunt snails and slugs at night when they're out. i try to throw them as far as possible, as i can't really stand to crunch them.

if you've already found slugs, that's likely what is eating the other shit.

i haven't had too much luck with the beer method.

It has been raining for a few days, but here is another photos from a few days ago.



It has that shiny web stuff on the edges which I read is an indication for a few different bugs.

hmm...thats insane the beer method doesn't work for you. Perhaps it is the heat/humidity factor? We used to use the beer method in South Florida and every two days or so there would be at least 5 snails in each. I don't like killing them anymore, so I dont use it, but I have always found it very effective.

The first time I saw a slug was when i was germinating them... it was just out
of the ground and it ate half the root just under the top of the soil. And the
other one did the same thing except it was about a week later. But this is the
only plant thats given me trouble.

well that's better than most times when you just won't see it happen at all. it's really frustrating i know. come out at night with a flashlight and you'll find your culprits i'd bet. bring the salt.

nursry carrys ladybugs and mantis larvea....also ladybug and other irie bugs..theyll do nothing but help...also try neem oil....good luck...good day...

Hi, I live in Spain but grow mine indoors ( They get stolen otherwise ) I have lights extractors/ fans and have been quite successful. I planted 10 plants ( Caramelicous ) 7 weeks ago and seem to have an infestation of black flies that are munching the leaves, any tips for killing the little sods?

I didn't do anything much, but the leaves have had much less problems. But I have something else that's fucked up. I'm trying to find whats wrong. If I can't I'll open up another thread.

I used the beer but I dug a hole and put an ice cream container in ,filled it with beer. The next morning the container had 15 /20 snails !!!!
