Bugeye's 2014 Organic Greenhouse Grow

Just spent the past couple hours removing small interior branches, maybe 3 to 5% of total plant volume. Not a defoliation thing, more of a need to spray for PM every 3 days and need to get some stuff out of the way. All loose popcorn buds with little value and a waste of space on the dry line.

Well...5 trips to the greenhouse today and I managed to forget the camera on every one! Photos tomorrow.

I'm at the point in my season where being done sounds very good. Not sure exactly when I'll harvest but I'm ready to get there.

If anyone is growing these same strains indoors, you should not go by my flowering times as a reference. I started my flowering clock at the very first observation of veg ending and flower structure beginning. An indoor grow will also tend to throw the switch on flowering more aggressively than the 2 minute per day loss of sunshine. Ultimately, my flowering times are meaningless.

This past week was the very best weather I have had all season. Just sun all day! My buds really needed it but will probably be too little too late in terms of getting huge buds. But I'm happy with how most are looking none the less.

I hope everyone growing under the sun is hanging in there and fighting the good fight in this last leg!

Mama bear and two cubs came through camp last night. Seems like they have heard driveway alarms before as it did not phase them. I knew from the skunky smell that it was bears and not an intruder. Made a lot of noise and caught site of them ambling down the trail. Very cool, but took me a half hour to get my heart rate back down!

Im almost at the end now I'm running into botrytis. Lost about two grams so far. I trimmed the affected buds off. I guess I will do some thinning today. and take pictures. I dont want to post until after harvest (paranoid). I had this same problem last year but the green house is buttoned up tighter and Its not as moist this time. The big problem is its been raining most of the week and I have at least a week of periodic rain coming.

Yeah, cooler temps and rain are no good in late flower. Fight the good fight, I look forward to seeing your pics.
