bug question

i am going to be using a grow tent in my closet and planting with soil is there still the risk of getting spider mites? and if so what should i do to make sure i will not get them?

enact a preventative program.
act like you always have them, and you never will. weekly horticultural soap sprays, or some use Dawn dish detergent. neem treatment at first sign of them.
don't bring things from outside into grow area.

what is horticultural soap sprays? and wouldnt dish detergent be bad for the plants?

In my opinion spraying them each weak is over paranoid lol no offense these things are a nightmare but where I live are not too common keep an eye on your plants and you'll know you've got them before it's too late. If you do get them you can purchase a spray that will basically eliminate the problem straight away vitality plus is good dependent upon what stage your plant is in. Remember if using high powered lights do not spray when lights are on or you'll end up with some frazzled plants. I do agree with act like you always have them and you never will but it's not necessary as long as you know what too look for and keep an eye on your plants
