Bug poop in my buds??

So this morning i go and check on my girls i noticed a couple leaves looked a little brown in 1 spot on my bud. I opened the bid up and somthing that looms like poop?! I checked it out with microscope and doesnt look like eggs. I took as much as i could out and i dont wanna spray anything in there. So my question is what can i do about this? Can i do a bud wash and wash the rest out? Will this be im all my buds? This is only one that looked like this. She probably has about a couple weeks to a month before harvest. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Insects like caterpillars cause wounds that make it easier for botrytis (sp?) to enter the plant

Rot setting in cut it out and spray with peroxide and hope for the best. As said caterpillars shitting on your buds is likely your cause.

You can't wash that crap out of the buds with a bud wash. That particular bud is trash. You should cut it and toss it. It's already starting to rot.

So i cut off what looked like poop/ rot and found 2 small caterpillars! Those bastards! Gonna spray with peroxide when sun isnt out. Thanks!

Checked all my buds on my plant, i found one more caterpillar at the very top on main cola, i had to cut it out

Well since those caterpillars come from moths then preventing the moths from laying their eggs on your plants using bug screen as @Nizza said would be a good way to keep them from laying eggs on your plants. You can spray whatever you want but some species have already developed a resistance to products like BT and other things people spray. Those caterpillars will just keep munching oblivious to anything used except for some of the more toxic stuff. I wouldn't use it but spinosad can be effective but be careful with its use as it's highly toxic to bees and should only be sprayed when bees are not active.

But the peroxide will do nothing to stop the caterpillars. It may have a small effect on slowing down bud rot but peroxide breaks down rapidly and the mold will just keep growing. You also don't want to introduce moisture to the buds if you can help it as that will just make the conditions more favorable for mold to spread.

Regardless, you need to cut and trash that bud.

I know it sucks but it is what it is. When you grow outdoors you have to assume the risks.

Thank you for that. Very informative. Ill just allow her to continue as i jave already cut the bud off checked as best i could in all other buds. Im gonna hope for the best. Thanks again!
