i was just over at my neighbors and looked at his plants. using a magnifier i could see lots of dead bugs stuck in his buds. he shrugged it off saying it was because he was growing outside. i have never seen this and wouldn't want to be smoking bugs. is this common or is there a way to avoid it? j

That's what ya get when its not homegrown! Id smoke a bug no worries. When I bought on the streets in sure I smoked worse than bugs. Now I'm picky if it's not mine I won't smoke it. Got a couple friends that use bushmaster and it makes their Cindy 99 taste like crap. I would rather have tasty tall ones, then high yielding ones that lack taste.

Many members here prefer to solve their bug issues with Yet! more bugs, like those lady birds strains that claim to dissolve weed bugs,

the truth is.. often by the time the lady bird or any other predator is 'up and running' other issues have appeared, or as often the case the plants been harvested

the deal here if you have bugs dead or alive, you will get them in your bud, just like the retro days of yesteryear,

that may be the reason why so many tokers don't mind at all, so long as they are dead, just like the growers are more concerned with their own plants health

....than their own !!! ...as it should be..lol

advise you neighbor for me ..tell him Neem Oil is his friend

I've had dead spiders and flying insects in my bud ,but that was outdoor growing. The incredibly sticky and stinky buds of this organic grow were more than enough to keep my mind off the insects that fought a futile silent battle entrapped in their resonous toumbs LMFAO! But true.

too late for neem oil. the buds were like flypaper, I think the fungus gnats just landed and got stuck. i have never seen anything like that on mine. mine have one or two dog hairs maybe, from my hat i think.
i have created many new strains by the way. i pollinated a couple buds on each plant and each one is putting out about 50 seeds. pollen was from afghani and a kandy kush. pollinated about ten buds on my charlottes web plant. j
