Bug id, mite?

Found this little bugger crawling around on a rapid root peat plug. Does anyone know it? Is it predatory, I do have fungus gnat larva in there too, could they be eating the larvae? I've been treating for fungus gnat larvae with mosquito bits, and an ipm spray. Today was the first time I've spotted this. I've recently brought in soil for pot ups, could well have came in with the soil, it was stored outside.

Its a beneficial soil mite. You have to treat all life cycles of fungus gnats to succeed imo. Youll never get rid of larvae if you dont get rid of the flyers. Get stickies for the flyers they dont harm plant but lay eggs in the media. Spraying plant is useless imo. Treat the media cover media and put out sticky traps.

its actually stuck to a blue sticky trap. i have blues and yellows up.
