BudsMckenzie's Indoor party Box

Ok hello everybody Im new to the forums. I am using this for a journal/log maily to keep track of what im doing but freel free to post comments or suggestions..

This is a CFL/HPS soil grow inside a stealth cabinet. I am using Miracle grow ORGANIC. I have Fish Emulsion for veg nutes, and SUPERBLOOM for flowering.

My VEG area is 21"L x 17"D x 20"H
Running **2-42w 27k CFL **4-27w 65k CFL for 192w thats 12,400 Lumens or 3024 Lumens/ft2
Passive intake and a 50cfm bathroomfan for exhaust, TEMPS hover around 76F 30% Humidity

My BLOOM area is 21"L x 17"D x 29"H
Running **1-150w HPS 15,000 Lumens or 2550 Lumens/ft2
Small fan blowing fresh air in for intake and a 80cfm bathroomfan with Carbon Scrubber. TEMPS vary HIGHEST it hit was 90F LOW 82fF 35% Humidity
( I have a 6" cool tube i guess ima have to install before summer)

Plants right now are a little all over the place

the 3 budding plants are all around 3weeks of flower (showing mostly indica traits)

the 2 supercrop are now both in flower as of today. (they are clones of a Sativa dominate mother)

the 4 smallest plants are inmy veg box now are all clones of the 3 Indica mothers

I dont plant on cloning any more of those sativas b/c the mother plant didnt yeild all to well still curing the smoke!

ok guys lemme know what you think.

The flowering plants appear to have a PH/Nute problem and so do the rest just not as extreme. Do you Ph your nutes? Could just be that your over feeding. Whats your feeding schedule? Should be WATER-FEED-WATER-FEED.

Could be the MG soil combined with your nutes compounding the problem. I would check PH to start and take it from there. I'm guessing its an all natual timed release fertilizer in the MG soil. So adding more nutes may have caused a lock-up.

Would agree with Northern Lights there... I would possibly try a smaller type of plant such as lowryder as your space looks limited... Lowryder are suited for small areas and yeild up to and over 1 oz dried and are a fairly good smoke...The plants your growing are ok and will bud up fine, but sativas are big plants that need height and width...

What do you think ?? You can get fem lowryder seeds from Nivana seeds, and the good thing about Nivana is you can purchase 5 or 10. 5 will set you back around £25.00

yes that is what happened i tried to give them to much superbloom, thats why the big one has the talon claws. the new undergrowth is looking better. I haven fed them scence i dont plan on using much extra nutes with the nes plants, i also plan to TOP/SUPERCROP to keep them around 2ft.

Well You really shouldn't top after a few weeks into flowering but thats your call. Do yourself a favor and go buy a bale of PRO-MIX or SUNSHINE MIX. Toss in 20%castings and go. I use FOX FARM nutes.always have always will for my indoor girls. I used to use bat guano and other additives but find them more of a pain for indoor growing.

I have flushed my plants 4-5 days ago should i just clip the curled up leaves or will the eventually go back?
he's my soil PH 6.5 is ideal right?
(note: all topping and supper cropping will be done in veg state im going for a perpetual grow with 2 plants a month a part)

Well depends on the strain. 6.5 at the lowest for me. I usually run about 6.8 They will not return to normal looking leaves but do not cut them off. Whats done is done. New growth should be fine though. Its all an expierence. Becarefull who you take advice from here. If you use a nuetral media then you know what your putting in as far as nutes. No guessing. Organic mixes such as compost need lime to have a nuetral ph.

Ill use Ph 7.0-7.2 water from now on then ( I have the SEEEMORENBUDS cfl grow book he used regular MG soil and off set his water PH and great fat buds)

Listen reading is great if your gonna right a book. Take it from a seasoned veteran 5.5 is hydro ph levels. 6.5-7.0 is just fine. You need to check your nutes ph after mixing. Bloom nutes tend to lower the ph alot. Mine comes to about 4.5 before i raise it. I use baking soda to raise the ph of my nutes. You should get a ph meter. Who knows how acurate the soil ph tester is in liquid.

yeah i have the drops to measure my waters PH and have baking soda/ Cider vinegar for UP/Down (again sorry for lack of info i thought my first post was soo great.. lol)
Im going to only water them for next this week before i give them any more nutes, I have synthetic bloom and i think ill use it at 1/3 recommened to prevent more trouble

A couple things... First, nice walmart build. Second, have you thought about a no-veg SOG to use more of your box? It looks like you could get 10 or more chopped 20oz bottles in there. Since height is limited, you wont need to veg them anyway, just establish a couple roots to the bottom of the bottle and straight to flower. This way you barely use any veg nutes (except for your mom's, whom require very little anyway) and can maintain a perpetual setup.

Maybe select 2 good moms and take a row of cuttings each weekend or second weekend and use the remaining space in the veg chamber for a walmart clonedome. Nothing fancy, just some 2oz cups and peat moss seedling starter mix. A "row" would be however many you can fit in one row in the flower section. So ultimately and in a perfect world, you'll have a weekly or semi-weekly harvest on the other end, without veg time, just rooting time for the cuttings (2wks). Good luck.

Oh yeah, and record on each cup what height each was put into flower at. This way, after your first run, you'll know exactly which height to flower at so that they'll finish at your prescribed height.

thats actually not a bad idea
ive labeled the clones so i know what came from where but maybe ill just mother them all out see which buds the best!

so your saying use the bottom for moms and clones then cram rows of small bottles in the top to maximize space..

See i was planning 2 big plants a month hoping for around 1oz per plant.
but with a SOG like your saying i could easily harvest at least 3/4 oz every 2 weeks.....I think i may switch (first i need to make/install a cooltube)

Ok so heres the cooltube i bought for A DOLLAR!!!!
i went to a 2nd handstore like goodwill called SAVERS looking for a 9v dc power cord to power a pc fan on my old set up, on my way out i saw this in the glassware isle, the funny thing was there was 2 other ones!! and a few of those curvy "Hurricane lamp" ones i have seen on this site all for 1.07 after tax!!
