You are absolutely right!!! I didn't notice any bud growth until 1 1/2 to 2 weeks from when I switched the lights to flower. I thought everybody starts count from when they switched their lights. I guess I was wrong. Thanks for putting that out there. ALL info is welcomed. Good or bad. Thanks again.
I'm really gonna blow your mind now......
DON"T WORRY ABOUT COUNTING ANYTHING. It doesn't matter
. Just watch the plant and it will show you the signs of what stage its in, and what it needs. Plants don't grow on timelines, or by calendars. They grow based on their genetics and the environment they are growing in. Some times that means they take much longer then expected, and if you focus on a timeframe instead of the plants health and progress its easy to harvest early.
As far as when some people count from, its a mixed bag. It has gotten common for indoor growers to count from when they flip the lights, but
experienced growers focused on quality won't harvest based on a specific day or week.
Many other growers indoors and outdoors actually look at the plants growth and understand the biology so they wouldn't begin counting "flowering time" until the plant was actually flowering.
Others of us don't bother counting weeks at all because in the end it doesn't matter if you harvest when the plant is showing you the signs that it is ripe you won't go wrong
.
