whats your humidity like? that's by far my preferred way to dry. I swear, they just hold on to every bit of odor and taste that way.
its 40% right now, I didnt chop yet, Im hanging in my grow area, so its kinds large, ( 3.4x6 x5 ) Temp is at 75F, might let her run another day, in dark, but lower temps to 65 for 24 more hours. I havent watered her eithers ince yesterday, just 1/4 of usual. I stem splitted her 5 days ago, and 3 days no water, till yesterday for the little drink. I really dont want to add a humidifier tho.

I wet trim but leave the plant in tact picked up some leaf bags at the hardware store cut a hole in the bottom for the stem and hang them upside down until dry it slowed down the dry process and I find the smoke smooth and the aroma is much better
So, put the plant inside the bag and hang? Leave it open a tad Id think?

Im definitly getting that HerbsNow dryer, that is a definite. But wont be for a few weeks, heck, maybe a month or 2, lol.. Im done growing for a while after this dryout. I have my seeded clones to finish up, so now i have fem seeds of the ShipWreck, and also crossed the The ShipWreck with my mystery strain that i crossed my FireOG with, that produces giant buds. Smells like Flintstone Vitamins? ( Mystery strain that i dont know genetics,)

I am at this point myself, shoots and mains all over the place laying down on the job. After a little love and praise, tie em up with velcro tape to the support net.

The strain Critical Mass from GYO seedbank is insane, even the lowers have big fat nugs on em and the calyxs haven't even begun to swell!

i do a wet trim during the humid season and a dry trim at the dry season. i believe the weight of the leaves helps when i hang them to compress the nuggets and slow my dry a little more in the dry season , and the opposite when its humid af i am scared so i trim off all the heavy stuff then do another dry trim cause i think its easier when its ready

i ended up choppin today, not whole plant, but 6 branches, made it easier to hang. Temp at 64F-60RH, 10 days tryin for. I wet a towel and hang in my area for humidity. I measure the amount of water i use each time, and time it for how long till it dries out. Cant wait for the Herbs Now machine, lol..

Over thinking is my thing. There may not be a perfect way but there has to be as near to one as possible.

When you're disabled and haven't worked in 10 years you find ways to make your life more difficult and less boring.
Haha I hear ya.

Buds near heater came in at 52%, a little dry, buds further away got up to high 60's%, a little wet. After placing it all in the container and giving them 12 hours they have stabilized at 60%

Pretty happy but next time I will remove from grow room and start curing in waves instead of all at once.
