Dear fellow growers,
I am starting this thread to ask advice on an issue I am having with one of my plants not ripening. The general context is that I have a balcony facing north-east so my plants only get direct sunlight between around 6am to 1pm. I know this isn't ideal but I have to work with what I have.
I have a Mimosa X Orange Punch auto plant that sprouted around the first of April, and it grew quite well considering the circumstances. But now that it is way past the normal flowering time frame for this strain, it seems to not be ripening like it should do. I am also noticing some fox tailing and I recently saw what I think is hermaphroditism on one of my buds (See attached picture). Only about 1/4 of the pistils have turned brown and new ones seem to still be developing out of the said fox tails. Looking at the trichomes, I think I can see some milky ones (although this is hard to tell with the magnifier I have) but I don't yet see any amber ones, which is usually my cue to harvest.
Considering the fact that this strain is stated to normally be ready to harvest after 65-70 days and that my plant has already been growing for 100+ days, I am unsure of what to do. I am fully aware that with my growing circumstances I will never get the full potential of the plant and I am only trying to get the best results I can with the conditions I am provided. I live in the southern part of Germany, so temperatures are quite decent for growing. I would very much like to hear from someone who may have experience with these kind of issues and lighting conditions.
Thanks in advance for any replies to this thread.
