Buds have a odd smell to them.

Ok so my friend has this plant anyways, his buds have kind of a odd smell to them he had a carbon filter with a fan blowing at them i don't know if that had any thing to do with it, there 5 or 6 weeks into budding advanced nutrients stain is big bang from greenhouse. i don't know if its mold but i didn't see anything. Looks very healthy but it was in veg for 2½ to 3 months.

whats the hunidity and what do the buds look like are they brown at all or do they have white fuzz on them anywere..what are your temps..

55 - 60 percent

try get it abit lower but aslong as it sticks under 60 percent the better denser buds the lower it is and the less chance of mold and bacteria mate

If it's mold that odd taste would taste like mushrooms. It could be your drying process. If you dry too fast it will taste like regular grass.

if im growing indoor, i try not to let mine get over 50%RH

Thanks mad hatter. My friend just got a dehumidifier. I think that will help alot more then the no-damp he was using.
