Buds growing on the leaves???

Yeah, just pick a low flowering branch and you can revert back to veg. I've heard the clone tends to grow a little wonky at first as it switches out of flower, but you should be good even at week 6 of budding.

Yes, it is possible... take the cutting as you normally would, obviously choosing one of the growing tips that has the least flower growth. Now, this is not as easy as taking clones off vegetative, so be swift, precise and Sterilized.

Then simply root it under 18 hours light cycle, using a clone lamp for example. Rooting will take longer, as the plant will be stunned not only from the cut, but from the fact that you are changing the photoperiod back. So be patient and keep misting those leaves, keeping huumidity high. It may continue to develop flowers for the first three weeks or so, after rooting..

and one more question what kind of experimentaion are we talking about besides the obvious of tring to get a super strand that is capable of producing 2 times the amount lol.... but seriously what kind of experiments??

This may prove that cloning a fan leaf does work and can produce bud. I read here on RIU that someone cloned a fan leaf and it rooted!!

Then someone asked the question how could it produce bud without a node or whatever. This is the answer. A bud CAN come out of a fan leaf.

May try and clone a fan leaf. Anyone up for it?

I am flowering some girls that were taken as clones during flowering and they are ok. Interestingly, although they were from the same mother, two of them have completely different characteristics than their sisters. I think the reveg may cause a gene code scramble in some clones, which is cool.

Anyway, it'll take a while to get the clones back to full veg, they'll go through the whole one leaf thing and all before getting to the three, five, seven pronged

Crossbreeding with another favorite strain. Possibly to increase calyx/leaf ratio in the other. Or to increase potency one way or the other. The way I see it that plant is so full of flower inducing hormones and sexed up it is in a flowering frenzy. Nymphomaniac if you will.

You really never know what will result from crosses, but I would think that plant would be a good candidate to monkey around with. All depends what you're into I guess.

well like i said this plant was a bitch to keep happy it is a sativa called grape god.so i'm not so keen on experimenting.i don't realy have the room niether. i hope i'm not making a mistake? 3 months and they wre never happy i'm sure that it is a combo of the strain, my knowledge and the products i use .i'm pretty sure that it's the products and the strain though. atleast that is what i would like to think lol.

and i also have cloned a fan leaf by accident.i was cloning one day and a fan leaf ended up sitting in the bottom of the dome and with out doing anything .not even putting it in dirt or rockwool it rooted. i could only think that the run off contained rooting powder and with the right conditions presto.the bud on the leaf that plant comes from clone
