Buds growing badly

The buds on my plant are growing horribly.

They lower branches have no formation only pistils which have turned brown now and theres no thc on them, the upper bits are a bit better formed but not really, they have more pistils/formation but no maturity.
The plants 6ft tall and ill yield literally nothing from it, it seems :S

Can provide pics if needed, anyone know what I can do?

400W HPS. Flowering properly for no more than 3 weeks, been on 12/12 for 1 month 6 days. I had a light leak issue though.

The fact that you're clearly overfeeding could be the cause of the dead pistils.

I haven't overfed a plant to the point where the buds have been affected but i have
noticed that if i give even a ml too much, the preflower pistils quickly die off while
everything else looks healthy. That could explain your red pistils.

Feeding nutrients half recommended twice per week.

Feeding water daily, 1.5 litres then leaving to dry, What am I doing wrong?

You dont need an absolute measurement on water in my opinion, just water till she looks wet enough. When it comes to a feeding schedule I try to keep to a water-water-nute-water-water-nute routine to try to keep the nute build up at the bottom to a minimum.
I saw and earlier post about there being long flowering strains, which is possible that you have. My last plant took a little under 2 months to swell up and i may have chopped a week early. Even with a light leak and if it turning hermie on you I'd expect the buds to be fatter due to the seed formation.
Pistils can brown up from to much heat, to much food, to much handling,to much wind...pretty much any thing out of the norm for it can cause it to happen.
I can't tell you your exact problem but I wish ya luck mate.

Looks like it never really kicked over into flowering, I would consider it in veg still. Once you fix the light leak and give it a true dark cycle you'll probably have to trim that whole plant back to 2 feet or so because it will still go through the stretch. Maybe check your timer to make sure the light isn't kicking on during the dark cycle since that would keep it in veg, it must have been a pretty big light leak because it has the maturity to quickly enter flowering.

I have plenty of experience in nitrogen toxicity.

That's what your leaves are showing. My veg feed recommends 5ml per litre of water a week and my plant only needs
1.5ml. If i were to give 2.5ml i would get the same downwards canoeing that you're getting.

If i see any canoeing starting i flush and the leaves usually return to normal within a day. If i leave it
for too long the leaves are stuck like that.

Yeah someone on the growery figured that one out for me, the soil I used had a slow release fertilizer and I didnt even know D; and so they've been getting raped by the nutes ive been feeding them, ive decided to only use water from here on in.

Can I reverse the eagle clawing? Theyre pretty bad tbh, learning is fun though.

If it was just the start of the toxicity and only a few leaves were affected then you could easily flush
and they would straighten out in a day. If they've been that way for too long then they're stuck
like that.

Do you have ANY idea what strain they are? Who ever said it is right man, some Sats can take up to 18 weeks (or more) My Jack Herer (Sat Dom Pheno) was slow to take off like that but man starting in week 6 thru 8 they'd pack on weight. At first, I panicked as well. Also I was disappointed at the trichome production, looked more like a light dusting of powdered sugar than crystals, but holy shit it was a heavy hitter. Very up, dreamy and trippy with a great body stone.
They could very well be OD'ed on N but they don't look that bad in the pics. Whe you water, water until they are saturated and you get run off, then let em dry out before you water again. There is no set watering regimen, give em what they need then let em dry out again.
