Lookin good bro! Looks like you got another week or two though, I'd start flushing if you haven't already and let em get good and yellow before you chop. If you have a scope/loop check to see if the trichs are cloudy yet. I like to chop at about 15% amber :)

A few weeks to go. Flush if you want but the only thing that will accomplish is reducing your final yield. Better to just cut back on the nutes for the last few weeks rather than cut them out altogether......

I dont flush, but I was thinking about a 48 hour dark period before cutting, is that a bad idea? This is my first grow so idk

Flushing knocks off about 2 weeks of your curing time. I would much rather lose a gram or two than taste fertilizer in my smoke.

the flushing/cutting out nutes topic will bring many opinions around here.

if you're interested, try it on some plants and not others. See what you think.

even hydro growers flush. i think i flush plenty, but it seems never enough..........i douch em good like three times. when they are dry, i do it again. think of it as watering to the max. lol. i have this big tub i got from walmart. i placed two 2x4's across it, and put 3 at a time up there. ill run ten gallons thru em. the first run off is usually nasty looking, and smelling. like ferts!!! bad for the lungs.

I didn't flush my first grow and did on my second. It's been three years and I've been flushing ever since tasting the difference!

Well seems like 2-3 weeks is what you guys are sayin I'll wait the three I mean Im in no rush.. How old they are Im not too sure, I do know its an auto flower and the pistils shown about a month ago. My guess is its about 2 months old.. When I water, I water til its draining from the soil just like I do tomatoes and peppers. IDK if thats bad or not, but I do let the soil dry out before a watering. Oh, and its outdoor if that changes anything.

well, if its in the ground, its not one u can really flush. lol. i had one jack herer outside last year. 13.5 oz. i stopped ferting at the mid part of sep. cut on oct 19. have two of the same plants out there now. if the plants are in containers, they are easily spotted. in the ground, next to other stuff. they dont get noticed. simple as that.

Most nutrients are heavy metals and salts....you don't want that taste in your product. So make sure you flush dude. Try flushing some, and not flushing on others...keep everything separate and labeled....then do your own taste test with friends.

Many may be surprised at whats a metal and whats not. Nitrogen is probably at the head of the deficiency list late in flower for those that flush and believe the yellowing and shedding of fan leaves is "normal" at any phase of flower. And Nitrogen along with Potassium and Phosphorus fall into the non metal category. Plus those fans are removed at harvest anyways by most. I would really like to know what you all think you are truly flushing out of the plant. Starvation and trans location of sugars and carbs is not flushing anything from the plant...call it what it is, making a plant starve and use what energy it has stored, not flushing. You give taking a good Bundy a bad name.......
