budding young?

Okay my plants are about 6weeks old, now taller than 3-4 inches with 4-6 leaves

i noticed on one of my plants it has bundle of bud looking sprouts growing on the top, and i thought this is impossible for 1. the light stays on 24/7 and 2. its only 6weeks old!

have i mistaken these little buds as something else?

what strain is that??

Yes more than likely...

its eventually going to be a bud, but i think its just new leaves forming and growing.........

Wow, that is strange, that really looks like bud, and the crystals are starting to form.
maybe it has autoflowering genes.

6 weeks is old as shit for a plant.. a plant only need to veg for 14-30 days from seed... and even less from clone...

What is more important that the height of the plant, is the number of nodes (pairs of branches coming off the main stem)...

I have attached pictures of plants at various ages... this is what your plant should look like..

I suspect you are over watering and not giving proper light to your plant..

well i only water when the soil is dry, but the lights might be a problem. im using 2 75watts plant lights? so idk

how far are the lights

1 inch above the plants
trust me, growing these plants has been a hastle.
I dont understand what i am doing wrong, because when i fix one problem another one occurs.
my plants are six weeks old and they look like they are 5days old! please help!

The problem is the lights... "plant lights" are not plant lights.. LOL

You need to get CFLs.. you can get CFLs at home depot or walmart or any hardware store.. get the 43 watt (150 watt equivalent bulbs)

is there any specific type of cfls?

CFL energy saving bulbs for vegging - find some daylight bulbs that are rated 6500k or some cool white which i believe are 4500k..
for flowering use Warm white cfl's which have a 2700k rating.
a coupla daylight bulbs are fine for vegging small to mediium sized plants, but for flowering you want as many of the highest wattage cfls as you can get in the grow space..or your buds will be real fluffy and not have the usual dense growth.

for example i am using 2 x 42w warm white and 1 x 25w daylight cfls on the canopy, and have 4 x 20w warm white and 2 x daylight around the plant to create a natural-ish light around the entire plant..works just fine fer me.
