hi all, first time grower here! quick question, are my buds likely to get any bigger during the final week of flowering before the chop????

yes.........

They will swell-up during the final weeks. Keep an eye on the trichs.

2 or 3 weeks maybe? Look at trichs

This is the most asked question here at RIU....
Day 56 of 12/12 subtract the week when it was converting from Veg to Bud...
[How long after you flipped switch to 12/12 did you get buds?--I assume 7 days]
56-7= 49 days of bud...
Too many white hairs, when they reseed look for trichromes...
Look for Calyxes to swell way up, you'll think they have seeds in them [don't play with your calyxes]...
90% of Trics will be milky/white/cloudy and the bright frosty Trics glistening in the lights will be around 5-9%...
Maybe you see the start of a few amber/dark/tea colored Trics...
Then it's time...
I'd say: 20-26 more days...
