Bud Rot

Is Bud Rot prevalent on living plants? Or is it a problem when drying? I found a good sized nugget that was covered by a large fan, and when I moved it into light I saw that some of the hairs were brownish and shriveled. I'm too close to harvest to fuck it up now!!!

My temp rarely gets over 80 deg F, and humidity stays around 50 to 60 percent. It did get to about 70% (and 90deg for about 4 hours) for a day or 2, we hit a really humid weather pattern, and my fans took a crap at the same time. (wouldn't you know it?)

Could someone please post a pic of what bud-rot looks like? I can't find any pics of it.

no your ok. the hairs will cange colour with age and heat. you will know if it`s rotten or moldy

Dude, you don't know the half of how fucked up this grow was. I did EVERYTHING wrong!! Yeah, to say I'm paranoid is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! If it weren't for Bonz and a couple others I'm sure I'd have been left with nothing. You da Bomb, Bonz!!!

Already gearing up!!! I know where I screwed up, Bonz gave me a couple of soil mix formulas that I'm going to try out, and I have a better understanding of plant physiology, and nutrients & watering.
I have a bunch of seeds left from the same strain as this last. I am germing 25 of them, hoping to cull out down to about 15 plants.
It aint the shit that killed Elvis, but it's good! I just gotta get a real reliable source for some REALLY GOOD genetic stock. I've been thinking of either Papaya, Citral, or a Haze/Kush. I'd be REALLY happy with any good stock, tho............
