Bud rot problems :(

I had to harvest today as i was going to lose several plants on top of three that are completely donezo. Question is.. A decent amount of buds have the rot started in the stem. Does this mean the buds are unfortunately finished? Im on my way home finish trimming then do a bud wash.

Im furious. Couldnt help but shed tears. My year is ruined. Gonna post up some pics as soon as i get back and start cutting. To give you an idea, the little stems that connect the bud to the main stem are brown inside. Hasn't spread to the bud but is well rooted within the stem. I'm hoping they aren't completely done, being unable to halt the spread to the bud. It's all getting spun now anyway. No choice sigh. Smelly danky bud :(

The middle of the stem is brown. This pic isn't so bad, but I'll find some worse ones. The inside on some is brown. Is that still good?

Mine is doing the same thing... :( exactly the same spots on my plants. They are like 2 weeks away from harvest and have been trying to keep the rot at bay. I have had to clip a couple branches. I'm thinking I should go ahead and harvest as well. I did clip a part today where it was just rot on stem part. I trimmed it and did a wash. Gonna see if it continues for the next week .

Bud rot is systemic. It sucks but yes the rot has travelled throughout your plant. The healthiest plant of action is to toss the entire plants that are infected.

Some folks say you can use it for edibles or topicals and you can if you want.

But huge losses like this are why I never understand why some folks don't say to pull a little early to avoid rot and losing entire crops.

Sorry. Next year check into Regalia. I used it outdoors and this is the first time not losing any plants to rot

Gave a bud wash, have them hanging in front of a giant ass fan. Hopefully the spores have been washed off at least. Anything that had visible spread is long gone. If it spreads more, garbage. If not, spinning it all at this point.

The day of posting this was an early day I was going to harvest next Sunday, but decided on last Sunday due to extremely poor weather all through out this week oh well. Regalia and cease have been things I've been looking up now, thanks for the tip. Sad that it's systemic. Provided it's not in the bud itself (just in stem) and has been halted due to drying, are the flowers still safe? Is there not something I could do with it?

As for the regalia and/or cease, how do you use it. Can't find a consensus on whether it's ok to spray big buds or not.

If all you have is the brown in the stems then you don't have bud rot. Not sure if the brown in the stem would lead to bud rot--it would be interesting to let it go and see. Its probably a fungal issue, but not necessarily bud rot. In that case, you are 'probably' okay as long as you don't see anything weird on your buds themselves.

If it is bud rot you don't want to smoke it. That's why a lot of folks will recommend edibles or topicals. But why make edibles out of rotten stuff? Folks wouldn't eat rotten food so I would not do that either. But at the end of the day its your call.

Regalia is a preventative. You need to use it before there's a problem. If there's already an outbreak its probably too late. I wouldn't spray anything onto big buds and never sprayed it onto mine. I only used it at the lowest recommended dosage every 14 days and watered it into the roots. Seriously was a game changer. Give it a try using it next season and hope it helps you too.
