Bud Rot Just Before Harvest

I'm about a week away from harvest. The pistils haven't turned color yet except on the top bud. Trichomes are cloudy with a scattering of amber. I use earth juice nutes and have been flushing with catalyst and molasses for the last week. I wonder if there is anyway to hurry up the ripening by adding either a little meta k, 0-0-12 and /or some guano 0-12-0. I don't want to mess up the taste; on the other hand don't want to loose my crop or have to harvest early. Today I went over the 3 girls, alaskan thunder f..k, with a fine tooth comb and sprayed alcohol on the rotten spots and removed. Keeping my fingers crossed. It looks like a good 5 more days of sunny weather here on the coast of the bay area.

Sick plants man, smart to think ahead and watch for mold. It's never worth loosing a crop to mold when your merely a few days away from full ripeness, such a tough decision man. I hope all goes well though, looks like you'll do great with those. Nice Job!

You have weeks to go for full ripeness. Trichs aside, mthe pistils should only mostly be orange, but should appear receded into the actual bud. If you are growing in most areas of the us, late September or early October is the earliest most strains are ready..

Most bud rot I've seen, at least in my location, is from budworms. Did you inspect for worms? If its real wet and humid where you are, it may well be rot with no budworms. If you have to harvest and things are going downhill fast, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. But they don't look ripe to me

Alcohol Spray this late in flower is a bad idea, Since the resin on your plant is soluble in alcohol just think for a second what kind of damage you're doing to the trichomes with each droplet of alcohol spray. You might consider harvesting the plant if you're finding bud rot in various places on the plant.

For rot you want to spray diluted hydrogen peroxide. Alcohol will wash trichs away, as said above
