so i noticed some bud rot today on one of the lower buds, figures this shit starts right when we are expected to have a few days of wet weather but what are ya gonna do? on a positive note, it was only on one bud, and the reason was a small group of leaves that i missed had gone brown and receaded into the bud, and the rot was centered around that. i usually try to remove those brown, leaves for this reason, but i missed this spot so at least i know the cause. i removed the whole bud and trimmed away the rot and whats left is now drying and waiting to be sampled as i'm getting real close. quick question for you guys, when dealing with rot do you remove the whole bud as i did or do you just try and cut away the effected areas and hope for the best? i was worried about losing the whole bud so i thought fuck it, better to have a premature bud rather than hoping the rot won't spread and ruin the whole bud. thoughts?
