Bud Rot at 7 weeks should I chop?

Have some Dr Krippling IB @ 7 weeks today found rot just starting in a 3 colas (10 plant grow). Iv'e taken the bad colas off but pondering whether or not to chop tomorrow, at least maybe the bigger colas.

Can't get the humidity below 45% so a bit worried. Krippling IB are an 8 week strain so probably only lose a little bit of weight. They won't have been flushed and are not ripened properly but do I have a choice?

In past grows I have just removed the villains and got away with it but I really can't afford to lose this crop and the DR Kiplings have large dense colas on them.

Any advice or reassurance appreciated.

Take the whole plant. Mold spores are invisible to the naked eye. I just took a bud rot plant out yesterday.

You should not be getting bud rot or mold at 45% humidity. Do you have a fan on at all? I grew the Bulk a while back and my humidity is never less than 50%

Ventilation!!

I grow at 55-60% rh throughout and have never had any issues but I also keep constant airflow at all times.

Yea mate I have two big fans going constant and air pulling out 24/7. I have had rot in the room last grow but one, so maybe the spores are still in there somewhere from previous grows.

I have all kinds of air moving but one strain has these fat rock hard buds. I mean rock hard and very thick. Bud rot for the first time indoors for me.

i got bud rot at 45% RH and made a thread and people came in and said this stuff about how you cant get bud rot at 45%. the thing is jut cause your probe says 45% RH in your room, in the dense canopy RH is much higher, and inside the buds its higher still. Randomblame gave me a suggestion to kind of stick straws into the biggest colas to spread them out and let air inside.

for me, it only ever happened with one strain, and so i don't grow that strain anymore. and i haven't had bud rot since.

Ive had some monster harvests with Incredible Bulk. But always a touch of rot where I don't have the problem with other strains.

Mind you last one was really stupid fist sized colas so I expected it.
Probably lost 3 oz last round and I had already planned to never grow it again.
Also had a crazy amount of ventilation both above canopy, below and inside the canopy.

If it were me and plants where all one harvest I might be tempted to remove anything with the chance of rot and let her finish , maybe use ghe ripen to quicken her up.
Of course I cant see how far off you are or how much of a problem you have.

That's a hard decision I've cut the rot out let a plant go a week an had great results. I've tried the same in another grow an lost the whole crop didn't even get to sample a bud. If you want to let it go take the rot out and pull off almost all of the fan leaves to promote airflow. Your problem is probably lack of airflow not humidity

Well lads, I have decided to take a chance and give it another week. Took all of the rot out yesterday, non of it was bad but it was in a good few colas (mainly on one plant so I took all of the big colas off that one). Checking them cola by cola twice each day. If I find anymore it will come down.

Thanks for all of the advice.
