Hi folks... Been on a brief hiatus between grows. Thank you all for checking and for posting your pics/feedback. I've been researching t5 fluorescent bulbs for vegging. I already have a 400 watt switchable hps/mh but need an alternate veg light to control heat issues mainly. Will have to use another grow space too. Planning to keep the veg cycle lmited to 4wks instead of 8wks like my 1st trial grow which had a great return for harvesting. I was eying the quantum bad boy T5 product. Anyone have any feedback on this one specifically? I could do cfls but I also want the option of separate veg/bloom rooms... Will update with what I decide on later.

Long over due, I know. Here is my recent project. Got the T5 dual spectrum lights, using for vegging 3 plants. 2 are church, 1 is NYCD, all from fem seeds. Still in DWC, 3 gal buckets.

NYC D (NYC Diesel) -- over 2wks in veg. Slowly, but surely growing.

Church -- same as NYC D plant. Both share a 3 gal bucket. Started at the same time as NYCD.

Church - almost a month old, growing fast and strong. A little worried about the tips of her leaves. Yellowing? I added Cal-Mag and backed off the nutrient strength. Her roots are white, healthy, and growing longer each day.

Want to ride this one out as long as I can. Considering topping it the older Church. She's already at her 4 node. Was thinking of cloning the cut, but haven't cut her just yet.

Assuming most of the earlier pics posted have already been harvested! Cheers!
