Bud Mold

Im growing in a greenhouse in the uk. I have been forcing a few of my plants into flowering by putting them in large compost bins so they get 12 hours light and dark. They are in week 8 of flowering and i started to flush with water yesterday as i have been using tera vega and tera flores nutes. I just noticed what i thought was a spider web in one of the top buds so i tryed to pull it off with the tweezers. I then seen some of the small leaves in the bud are brown and soggy and it wasnt a spider web but mold hair. Is the anything i can do to stop it spreading. I can only see it in 1 very small spot. Should i harvest it now even though i havnt properly flushed it?

Immediately, cut the moldy part from the plant. Inspect all parts of all plants. Your humidity is WAY too high & maybe not enough fan circulation and/or exhaust. Fan circulation is for one thing, exhaust fan is for another, don't confuse the two, and both is needed. You need to get your humidity down to 60%. See the DIY site for a cheap dehumidifier if needed. Then, immediately go to the local grocer and buy a bag of whole ground cornmeal. Not bleached, enriched, etc, but straight whole ground cornmeal. 1 cup per gal. of clean warm water. Soak for 24 hrs., strain or just water the plants with it. It will inject a bacteria that kills fungi & mold, plus add natural nutes to your plant system. If you use chemical nutes, nevermind, your soil is dead, anyway. Just get the humidity down and circulate the air 24/7. Keep us posted.

The pots they are in have plenty o holes in it. The compost bins i cover them with are basically air tight as it was the only way i could get it light tight. I have noticed for the last couple of days the when i lift the lids off in the morning the is a bit of condensation on the underside. Its a shame as its in its last week and its the best looking plant. Will the mould spread or can i treat and stop it?

as south texas said, its mold so cut it off the plant and get urself some airflow. at least get a fan in there to blow on ur plants for abit of circulation.

u said u was in a green house....

my grandad used to have one, they are hot as hell and humidity levels are high. id take south texas advise. he seems to be on the money.

didnt even think about air circulation.

tbh, i dont know how a plant got that far in a green house with all that heat.

anyways, that should sort ur problem monsta

Sorry if this is a really dumb question.... Would mixed poultry corn do the same job? I just removed the mouldy area and did a good check of every part of every plant to make sure the is no more. Which the luckly isnt
