bud is way too dry, sponge in jar?

So i hung dry my plants for about 4 days and when the bud got put into jars for curing they were on the right course..

however over a period of about 11 days while curing in the jars, the bud has become super dry. the jars are good jars and completely seal.

how can i get serious moisture back into the bud? iv tried orange peels and other fruit peels but its no where near enough. can i use a very damp sponge in each jar?

No my man use a thick piece of iceberg lettuce and change it out till bud gets moist again. Trust me it works and does not add any flavors to bud.

Don't thank me, thank the man that beat me to saying it haha, I was coming here to type that and I was happy to see its not as uncommon as I thought. Gotta love when old dogs teach you new tricks :blsmoke:
