Bud Blood for Cuttings???

I have 5 GDP I just topped and I'm trying to figure out sex before they go outside, I've had the top cuttings in a Hydroponic cloner on 12/12 for 2days. My plan is to flower the cuttings and once flowered (I can see sex) I was going to throw the cuttings out or give them away to some buddy's I don't plan to keep them. Can I give the cuttings a bit of Bud Blood to speed up Flower?

Was the mother in flowering when you took the tops? If so they will show shortly, if they were in veg - you're going to be waiting 5 weeks or so for them to take root, and then switch to flower.

No they was in veg but I believe they were sexually mature. They was veg for about 5 weeks under 300w mh on 18/6 before I took cuttings.

well... its been a minute but update? ...would've offered yes to bud blood and most if not all bloom enhancers at 1/4-1/2 bloom schedule for first 2wks

can you not put the plants under 12/12 lighting for a couple of days?, if they are mature plants ( which i assume they are if you can clone them) they should be begging to let you know.

i did it recently on 3 plants that were about 18" tall, the females were easy to spot with fluffy white pistils but the boy still had a plain preflower so i took them all out and put them back under the 24/0 veg tent cfl and sure enough his balls dropped.

i did all this in less time than it will take you to root clones and then sex them.

as for adding bloom nutes to cuttings, i have heard of that being done before with success but never tried it.

clones will root just fine with a very light flowering mix its well known that clones like phos pattas i do it regular
