For my soil growing i have always used standard 5 gallon buckets and was plenty happy with how they work I now want to be more efficient with my space allowing for more plants. I have seen wastebaskets at walmart that i believe are 6 gallon they are taller and skinnier would this shape impede root growth. I know you want your roots to have a decent "footprint" a 5 gallon bucket is 12" around these are about 9" which in my new room would help greatly . :blsmoke:

Just depends on how big U plan on getting the U plan on growing them. About 1-2 liters per foot is my guideline.

P.S. I wouldnt go bigger than a 1 Gallon pot per on an indoor setup. 1G pots are only $1 at my local garden supply shop.
