Bubble hash#

Ok everyone this my second time making my own bubble. An the first time was better it was only the trim from 1st harvest. And only the trim from around the flower. So I go an press it an got my first go at dabbing.

So this time on trim half way through flower. I thought don't throw it out do the same thing. But this time i literally blended it with a smoothie stick. While frozen an strained problem is its green an took for ever . An when pressed hardly any oil. Was it blended to much or
Wasnt there enough potent goodness in it also. Another learning curve.


People please show antell how you get the best bubble hash an do u make something else from that an is so how love an peace out from oz20210727_172449.jpg

Blending it makes it too small and exposes too much chlorophyll.

Halfway through flower there probably wasn’t much anyway, bubble is usually just collecting the trichomes.

Bubble and dabs are two different things.
Bubble is made usually in several different micron bags. It looks to me like your smoking the wash bag. Looks like spinach babyfood on your mat. Squish dry flower for dabs
EDIT: ill correct myself they're different extraction methods

Best quality is going to come from buds. Not saying you cant wash trim, but if you want the best hash/rosin dabs you need to start with quality. Buds, baby

Ya it can be done can press bars too but im pretty sure thats not what hes doing, check out the product on the mat lol. You gotta make hash to press it
I didnt see the mat lol. Ima guess that was the "smoothie stick" experiment with the green leaves?? lol. yeah, not hash

Yea I'm trying not to waste thongs so thought I'd give it a go my first extraction was great an not green but none can answer my question.i think I know the answer but thought I'd get a couple other options.

Cool thanks exactly what I thought an yea next time ill just cook it an I was really looking forward to a dab in Oz where not lucky enough to be able to just buy it u have to make it or know some one we'll im sick of getting rorted so here I'm doing it

I was just making a hacky joke. I dig the experimentations. Trial and error. Win some, lose some. ect ect. I'm sure it doesn't taste too bad and will still get you high.

So you trim halfway through flowering, you trim the sugar leaf and make hash? The language is kind of confusing on the OP post.

The real OG growers are probably busy trimming and making their own killer hash. To some degree this is always going to be trial and error but I’ll toss you a few tips so next time around maybe you can end up with some decent hash....
1. Materials.... you cannot make treasure from trash. Use only fully dry trim, lower nuggets & popcorn to make concentrate; fresh frozen usually turns out bad. Yes it is possible to run it fresh frozen but you want the materials to stand up to a beating without turning to pulp after mixing. Dry materials allow the trichomes to fall off easier; you should be able to literally bounce or card it off a screen for a few mins and collect the drysift from it underneath. One thing about running bubble is you need whole a lot of materials to get a decent return. Wait until your plants are FULLY mature before chopping; could be why it turned out so green.

2. Ice... use big chunky homemade ice. Gas station ice melts too fast. You want to be able to do 2-3 washes with the ice remaining mostly intact. Use as little water as possible and cool it by melting ice cubes in it before adding your materials into it. Should be a slush puppy; barely just enough water to get everything to spin.

3. Equipment.... use the full range of 8 bags. Don’t skip any micron sizes; you want as much filtration as possible. The full nylon mesh style bags work best. You can just use a big ass metal spoon but those mini washing machines make the mixing less arduous and it’s gentle enough to do two to three 30 min washes before the materials begin to turn to pulp.
4. Pressing.... don’t use a rosin press for this. The hash should be easily press able with just the heat of your hands between parchment or you can use a little heat from a dry iron for a couple secs or of course the Frenchy Cannoli way w/a wine bottle full of warm water. RIP Frenchy. Search frenchys threads, the man was an OG hashmaster....
