bubble bags hash help

They claim it makes it easier for the trichs to break off once you dump it into your bucket and start beating the hell out of it.

If the water you are using is kept really cold, it's a non issue as far as I'm concerned.

I keep my sugar leaves in the freezer until I have enough to make a batch of hash. The reason you have to keep adding ice to the hash-making process is that it is critical that the greenery be 41 degrees or less for the tris to easily separate from their host leaves. The colder the solution the more tris you can accumulate in the liquid, the "juice". I bought a 5-gallon set of 8 bags to make hash. There is way more than 50% of the juice lost in the process of using all 5 or 8 bags. So I only use the 200 micron bag to strain my juice just the one time. Then I pour 2 ounces at a time onto large, 10 x 12-inch?, flat microwave plate and leave the plate(s) under a fan overnight to evaporate. Experience has shown me that 2 ounces of juice is just the right amount to evaporate in 12 hours with my set-up. Next day I use single-edge razor blades to scrape all the dried up residue. That's my hash. Works 4 me, BigSteve.

I freeze my trim and do not dry it; I think that it keeps the amount of green plant matter to a minimum.

freezing it will preserve it if you are not making right away. Some say to dry it the freeze, others freeze wet. I think dry is nice because it is easiest the break the material into smaller pieces. The smaller the pieces, the easier it is to knock off the THC when mixing in ice

if you dry the sugar out first, your trichomes shrivel, meaning ur bubble bag sizes will not produce the same separation of grade of hash, ie the bag down from ur 220 micron bag will not separate out the big stuff and it will mix with the finer grade below etc. freeze fresh in ziplock bags, if u can get as much air out as possible first all the better.
