I keep my sugar leaves in the freezer until I have enough to make a batch of hash. The reason you have to keep adding ice to the hash-making process is that it is critical that the greenery be 41 degrees or less for the tris to easily separate from their host leaves. The colder the solution the more tris you can accumulate in the liquid, the "juice". I bought a 5-gallon set of 8 bags to make hash. There is way more than 50% of the juice lost in the process of using all 5 or 8 bags. So I only use the 200 micron bag to strain my juice just the one time. Then I pour 2 ounces at a time onto large, 10 x 12-inch?, flat microwave plate and leave the plate(s) under a fan overnight to evaporate. Experience has shown me that 2 ounces of juice is just the right amount to evaporate in 12 hours with my set-up. Next day I use single-edge razor blades to scrape all the dried up residue. That's my hash. Works 4 me, BigSteve.
