Bubba Kush Advice Needed

I'm going to pick up some bubba clones this weekend and need some advice on a number. I have a 2x4 tent. 2 gallon pots of coco, dtw setup, 600w hortilux. Would I benefit more from running 3 and bushing them out under a scrog, or packing 6 in there and grow them upwards?

Pack 6 in there in a circle under the light and bend them over, start LST. You have a 600 watt, doing 3 is a waste.

i agree to go with 6 and get a good canopy going with lst..unfortunately might be hard to maneuver stuff around thats really not alot of room...maybe go 4?!

Sweet thanks for helping me make up my mind. I'm used to running og in there which can get tall and lanky so I top several times and supercrop, and grow less plants wider under a screen usually. Tent is only 5' high but from what I've heard bubba is short and squat with little stretch.

yes from what you hear is right. You won't get much stretch from bubba when you flower it out but you will get some rock hard buds. Give them a decent veg before flipping and you should get a decent yield.

I have to respectfully disagree with 6. I would only do 3-4 max. I did 4 in a 2x4 tent with a 400 watt(50 watts per sq ft) and maxed out the canopy and even think 3 would have been sufficient. If you do 3, top twice, or maybe 3 times, and you will have no problem maxing out that canopy. Also I feel a 600 is overkill for a 2x4.

Just fyi, she will grow slowly in veg, but it pays to give her the extra veg time and try to get the plant a little larger than you would normally do, if you are going to be using nets/scrog. Feed heavy as well, she can take it.

Thanks for all the input. I went with 6 king kush clones today instead, essentially the same thing though. It's pre 98 bubba x master kush.

was this a cutting from ghs kings kush or a cutting named kings kush where you from? The genetics sound good.

I really nice pre 98 Bubba Kush cross that I had the chance to try recently was by Dynasty Seeds. It's called Candy Carmel Kush, it's some straight fire and some of the densest nuggets I have ever seen. I have heard good things about Peyorte purple by Cannibogen, but have never tried it.

I have a pack of peyote purples laying around, but don't have the space at the moment to pop them all and sort through them. It is a unique pheno of katsu bubba x pre 98 bubba.

Peyote Purple Regular Cannabis Seeds

Peyote Purple is a delicious and spectacular hybrid, an uplifting Indica effect. It is harvested in 8 to 9 weeks, sweet earth aromas with touchesofmango, metallic and shampoo. It's a fantastic high and quality resin producer. Its been developed several generations from an isolated purple phenotype segregated fromBubbaKush.
