Subscribed. Looking good at the moment mate. Hope everything goes well.
I will take some more pictures tomorrow.

I plan on vegging another week or so. The reason for the short veg is that I have the 8 plants in a small area. If I veg to long I will end up pruning, because they will completely fill it up. So I am looking for the combination of pot size/flower height, etc. which will get me 8 ounces off 8 plants.

Here are some more pictures of the girls.

DSC01613.jpgDSC01612.jpg

These are in 2 gallon pots, the bamboo sticks are 24 inches, with about 18 inches above the soil.

The 2 largest are over 14 inches tall. The smallest 2 are 6-7 inches tall. The Middle 4 are 10-11 inches tall.

I will wait and see how they grow. I am thinking on letting the middle 4 get to 18 inches before I flip to 12/12. I will SuperCrop the 2 large ones when the hit 18 inches.

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I transplanted. :bigjoint:

Looking great! Nice and healthy. Carn't wait see how they turn out.

Are you planning on using any nutes?
I will be using the Fox Farm nutes Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom, along with Open Sesame, Beastie Blooms and Cha Ching.

However, the Fox Farm Ocean Forest has a lot of nutes in it, so I usually don't worry about the nutes (1/2 dose) unless I have a problem. I don't worry if I miss a feeding, etc.

Things still going just fine for the 8 Bubbas.

Look at the pictures and you will see a Blue Bamboo Stick, which is 18 inches above the soil.

I don't have bugs. I clean all of my clones and this is my 3rd generation. The biggest problem would be Spider Mites, but they like it hot and dry. So, in the winter, I don't worry.

I had some spider Mites a few grows ago, got them early, did not impact my grow. If you use HOT-SHOT No-Pest Strips in your grow area a few days before your put your plants in you will be bug free. Also any clones you get, should be put in with the strip for a few days to KILL any bugs.

The biggest worry for the Bubba would be Powder Mildew. So you need to watch for that and control your environment. :joint::peace:

They are flowering, I might have to read the manual to learn how to take close-ups, with a SonyCyber-shot.

hey bro, i saw you say root dev is hella important in early growth. should i give my seedlings a weak jolt of root enzyme? like 1/4 strenght? would that help or hinder since they are so young. growing in pro mix soil. i am running an experiment with 2 seeds from same splant. one with one without. but thats gonna take a bit, and you might know the answer now, lol. nice grow. i subscribed.

From seed you should be in no hurry to add anything. The Pro Mix should be fine.

For root development (I use clones), I put clones into 4 oz cups with FFOF to get them going.

A week later into 16 oz party cups. Then 1 gallon, then 2 or 3 gallon.

The idea is to get them a little root bound before you transplant, then they explode.

Remember 1/2 of the plant is the roots. :bigjoint:
