You're not wrong. Smaller containers work great to weed through #s of seeds without a large space. Too small though and it reflects in the yield so i need to massage that with a slight increase. Current sizes are 8oz and 32oz, convenient free cup sizes
Half of my bubbly are in 8oz and the other in the 32oz and it's obvious. A 4x increase in rootzone volume from 32oz to a gal I'm hoping to see some equal gains in flowers. My mimosa beans are all gone but the last of the pack had a few females that I haven't seen flower. I'm very curious in finding out how they turn out. The terps are similar to my female on stem rubs both boys and girls. I'm hoping for a freak yielder with those same terps.
My cloner took a dive and I had a flash of brown surface rotting (iron bacteria?)
The plant roots, the 5 mimosa seedling/cuts, went from thick white spaghetti to translucent pyth mucus you know if you've had it consistency.
Fought it with some bleach and they're blowing out white again.
Framing the failure on my part as a success as it's informed me of which of the males came back with serious vigor since the hiccup, he has been chosen.
All 11 Macdawgs are cruising along as fast as they can in the cold temps. I'm jealous @genuity your Bison Breath have already lapped me and I'm pretty sure mine went swimming first.
Am seeing some mutations in the Macdawgs with about 5 of 11 now showing at least some crinkle or twist or other anomaly. They're still going to get their shot. I'm really looking forward to how that mac1 crosses with Gu's stardawg which has brought me nice plants in the past.

**this one took the flush the hardest. Was limey green all throughout flower, once it got hit with distilled it started to fade hard. Lowest yield of the lot, low vigor finicky growth. Smells dank tho but sucky as a plant to grow.

Any cantaloupe fans out there? This pheno is strait wet cantaloupe terps with a touch of funk and zest. Not my favorite smell but the structure is right. Those bubba leaves in the progeny
3 weeks of flush couldn't even fade this girl.
..what was really going on in that mimosa

I had a few phenos of the Jabba's Stash that had a cantaloupe/melon profile. I wouldn't have guessed the Bubba was imparting that trait (assuming that what's happening).
Agreed #5 takes the beauty contest.

#8 is currently in reveg, experimental only. No plans to keep it but I wanted to do some experimenting along with another member who had the idea to send a reveg plant which is ready to harvest back into veg for some time prior to removing any flowers. #8 is ~8 days into the reveg.
The rest of the bubbly beans are on vault mode for now. Was a fun cross to make and dig through. To those who received gifts you have some idea now of what might be found. Sorry for the runts.

That Jabba's Stash looks fire.
Would make a nice bx candidate.
I don't know where the cantaloupe terps came from. Bubba has none of it. None of the bubbly are full on leaning one way mom or dad, they're straight mutts but that's sometimes the funnest ones to dig though.
Whereas my mimosa pack has been damn near as close to an IBL as I could ask for. Every plant from the pack has near identical terp profile between both males and females.

..with that we have the Sincity Bora Bora that went into flower, and exhausting out the last of the purple starburst.
Until then the choice mimosa girl is about 3-4 weeks in. I'll get some photos of her up in here when convenient.
The new mimosa male has been chosen and he's ready to rock.
****All of the Bubbly progeny were made from pre98 Bubba Kush and a Symbiotics Mimosa male****
The male was documented in the "chucker's paradise" thread (thanks @genuity) as displaying some reverse hermaphrodite tendencies near the end of flower.. (not hermy but threw pistils at end days)
None of the bubbly progeny have displayed ANY hermaphroditic signs even with a 3week flush and pushing plants near dead on stick ripeness.
For those that might have been following that male or wanted to know about progeny findings this is what was observed in practice.

Cannatonic F2s are up and at em thanks to @Nu-Be. Considering taking a Cannatonic F2 male to a choice Bora Bora for the cbd project.

I did not keep any metrics on male to female, unfortunately. Round 2 was ~75% female but I cannot recall round 1 numbers. Didn't capture any hard data only have fleeting memories.

I ran Tora bora back in 2010 I think or befor that,but that smoke was to much for me,a true powerhouse body blow,befor I knew anything about CBD.I did not keep any metrics on male to female, unfortunately. Did not count the days but it was 70+ might have been over 80 because the cold temps really slowed things down. Mimosa looks done at 56-63 but I still take to 70, bubba is a solid 63-70days. They all will get you high at 56 but i like 70. I kind of don't want to attract attention of too many bean contest things, it was more a put up or shut up but I'll honor that if someone actually does. I don't' want to get into it with selling or advertising, this is a hobby for me.
Good to hear, the plants look straight out of Jurassic Park.
