as the title suggests, i have 2 week old (from transplant) train wreck ladies doing my first dwc bubbler grow in 5 gallon charcoal grey buckets with 6 inch net pot lids and yadda yadda fuckin yadda....
anyways, im using flora duo from GH and so far so good till i change out my water for the first time...i decide to try adding voodoo juice to my mix, only 5 ml in the 4.5 gallons of water....and not even 48 hours later, it looks like i dropped a handful of dirt in my water and my roots have hella brown gunk...it started in one bucket the next morning, and i immediatly made a new bucket and mixed in 60 ml of h202 in 4.5 gallons of water and my regular nutes strength, but no voodoo juice....put my plant back in it and within 10 minutes, the roots were sparkly white again, and water sparkle clear.
Ive done some research on the forums and i also have a book known as the marijuana garden saver and so far, the only connection i can make to this is pythium. So, i found a thread somewhere online with a ratio of 30 ml per gallon of water H202 mix, but that was for reservoir and being that i DO NOT have recirculating, i chopped that in half and put in 60 ml in each bucket and so far, it appears to have went away.
The ladies are about 6 inches tall, and the browning only went as far as the roots went into the mix....above that it was white....
as of right now, i only fully changed out 2 buckets, still have 3 to go...just curious what anyones take on this is? I am currently mixing my buckets now with the floraduo, 60 ml of h202, and potassium silicate to help harden off the plants a bit.
