Brown Sugar?

I saw a video on youtube and this guy said he put in a tablespoon of brown sugar into a gallon of water and watered his plants with it. Apparently it doubled his trichomes overnight. Is there any truth to this?

Sugar is the component for microbial life in your soil , it can be SOURCED from various products. Molasses is the preferred choice due to value and availability.
Blackstrap molasses is a slightly more refined molasses , but organic unsulphered is what you want. Some growers use honey , cane sugar , dark karo syrup , and such. Save your money and STAY AWAY from the bottled sweeteners , like bud candy , nectar and others. They ALL use molasses in their mixes anyways.

And that trich overnight result is pure bullshit .

Here's a mix to use every other watering.
1 tsp of unsulphered molasses in 1 gallon of PH water. Add Fish / Sea kelp fertilizer
( 5-1-1 ) or something similar to this NPK ( 1 tsp per gallon ).
Water your god damn plant. Watch her say thank you.
