Yep, Calcium, Potassium definitely... I wouldn't go 3 weeks in hydro without changing my reservoir, sometimes it can work but my plants always liked it better when I changed it weekly. Just adding nutes makes the ratio of Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium to be out of wack and nutrient uptake becomes harder for the plants.
So easy to fix in a (r)DWC system, just empty it and start a fresh with a fresh nutrient batch.
Thanks.
Actually the vacuum suction pump that I have broke and I ordered another one, waiting for that to arrive and then I'll change. I was initially doing i weekly, but now I found out my plant is pretty much doing ok without doing that weekly (other than the fact I didn't give her what she needs in the last feed). So every 2 to 3 weeks "seems" fine.
got some tip burn going on too. is that recent?
and don't skip the micros again. they are just about important as the big 5 n,p,k,ca, mg
Yes, the tip burn has been there before this issue, but it wasn't there in veg, it started 3 weeks in flower (now it's week 5). I had zero issues with this stuff in veg.
Reason why I skipped micro is I thought i'm overfeeding it nitrogen. My plant's root system is absolutely massive, and she drinks a lot of water/nutes, and I thought that because of that she's getting too much even though i'm putting half of what it says in the specs.
I added 1/2 of specified quantity of all three (micro, grow, bloom) and the problem seem to have stopped (the burnt tips are still there though), as in... the spots did not spread to other leaves, and in fact looks like the spots are receding on the affected leaves as well, but not sure. Didn't compare with old pics.
