Brown spots on leaves

These are in the last week of flower and larger leaves have already yellowed and fallen off. The smaller leaves right next to the flowers are showing some brown spots on them. Anybody know what it is? Soil grown with fox farm nutes. pH at 7.0. Final flush two days ago.

This is a full shot of one of them. Could this be salt build up or something to do with nutrients? As you can see the brown keeps creeping up even the smaller leaves closest to the flowers. I am trying to hold out for amber trichromes. They are milky and clear now for the most part. Not sure what is going on here and if I should cut it down or not. The brown spotting on the leaves is like a bronze color and it is in circles. The first picture at the bottom post shows it the best. I can't get a clearer picture of it.

Its either the most severe K def I have ever seen, but more than that it looks like a fungus, but after dealing with the shit (leaf fungus) for 6 months everything starts to look like it.

Lets rule out K def. first
Makle sure Ph is straight, above 5.2 hydro, and above 6 soil. k is most soluable. Just about all nute programs provide adequate levels of K for cannabis. so if u follow a program like general hydro, or whatever and ur ph is in check its prob not K def.
If it is fungi, once it gets that bad it hard to control, in its early stages its easily contained with proper environment conditions. h2o2 in feed water will help sterilize the water, especially in a recirculating system.
I have been trying daily applications of h2o2 diluted to 1% in ro water, sprayed right on the plants top to bottom, I used it as strong as 5% with no negative effects on a test plant. I have heard good things about h2o2 beating plant fungus, but it takes a miracle along with it tons of persistence, and nearly perfect plant conditions until it is completely eliminated.. Keep me posted if u figure out or need some more help trouble shooting.

I chopped it premature. It went from bad to worse but fortunately I made the right call on the chop. The following day it was worse than before. I think you are right about a fungus. The soil in this particular container was something I gambled with (using backyard soil, etc...), but not enough perlite. The soil took forever to drain when I flushed it and also all along when I fed it. I eventually poked 5-6 holes to the bottom when flushing it and it drained better but I think the epsom salts that I put in in the beginning released a lot of build up also into the plant. Not sure. No expert here.

I did notice though that the flowers did a few things that was odd. They went from tight (somewhat) to looser and also they were damp to the touch. That was enough to frighten me and force me to chop them. A first for fungus but that is what I get from using the soil mixture I used in the first place. Like I say I think you hit it dead on. All of the others are doing good and I still managed decent weight considering it was a 12/12 from seed. Thanks for a reply. Any information at this point is helpful to avoid doing it in the future.

All u can do is keep plants healthy and disinfect the room after this grow before u introduce a new batch of plants. The fungi are everywhere, and plants are always at risk. This fungi enters thru the stomata (I believe). Once inside, a healthy plant puts up its defense and the fungi cant take hold, weaker plants cant fight it off and an infection occurs. Once u have an infected plant the fungus takes hold inside of the plant tissue and will produce spores and spread them thru the plant. At this point its too late to rid that plant of the fungi, it will be part of the plant as long as the plant is alive. Once one plant is infected it will be alot easier to infect others, expecially in hydro. The fungi will travel into the other plants thru the roots (I believe). This is generally new to me, its definately a total nightmare, the only good thing is it ios making me a much better grower because the room for error is minimal compared to growing without this shit.

Thanks for the input. I thought I had been through everything before this but I think there is no ending to potential problems. Showed you some love with a +rep.

Ha, me too. First time I got this shit it was terrible. I had a bug problem so I was foilar spraying, and I went in the room the next day to the sickest plants I have ever seen. Then I watched it slowly go from my moms to the clones, to the x amount of plants that were flowering. I tossed all moms and clones as soon as I figured out what it was and I prayed everyday that my flowering plants would make it to harvest. When they made it I knew this shit could be controlled.
Just last week we figured out how to keep clones from being taken over by the shit during the rooting process, so its turning out not to be a big deal at all...
If u have any other questions let me know.
