brown gritty substance in roots

Hey all I'm growing in dwc for the first time. I'm in the 3rd week from seed.
Everything was going good until I added cannazyme in the 2nd week. Roots started turning a browny colour.
It's not slimey or stinky. So I don't think its rot.
Fast forward a week I was told to get some great white in there which I did and it seems to off made the problem worse.
Now the roots have a gritty sand like substance between the roots.
Any ideas?

Any advice on where to go now would be appreciated.

Cannazyme and hygrozyme will turn any dead / infected root matter to a black tar in my experience. Just wash em and see what happens.

Dont mean to sound retarded but what do you mean by wash them? Just rinse them under the tap (ph 8.0).
I tried spraying them the other day with ph 5.8 water but nothing really happened.

Or do you mean bath them in h202?

Cheers.
Hopefully I can save these girls.
(My last ak47 seed :()

P.s yeah I noticed a day after adding 'great white' the color of the water turns almost black.

Aww tht's too bad man. Adding an enzyme product to problematic water just speeds up the process. Believe i mentioned this in your other thread. Well like tikitoker pointed out, you're gonna need to make some tea. And yes you can spray the roots with tap water.

follow the recipie to the T- or it's your own fault. Seriously bro read this shit and the re-read it. IT REALLY DOES WORK!
Maybe where you live you have access to all the goodies needed for the tea.
For starters botanicare (aquasheild) don't distribute to Australia. So looking at 2-4 weeks shipping (don't have 4 weeks to wait).

And I haven't seen any of the other products on the shelf here.
so im guessing it's going to be the same process.

So I'm trying to do the best with what I have access to atm.
Here are the roots after a bath.

Looking alot better, I bleached the buckets and added pond zyme so hopefully it will clear it up.

Merry Christmas to all.
