BROTHERS GRIMM--C99 Regular Seeds Grow Journal

All plants in 2 gallons except the Grimm Truffles in a 3 gallon. Some were abit early, some abit late. Some bang on. Super Lemon Haze could have went another week. But all were super flushed. Fack it. I've got 9 seed plants just transplanted to 3 gallons itchy to go. Dry this batch in the bloom room for 4-5 days. Then move the seeds plants over from the veg tent. Didn't throw much light at them. Probably averaged 300 watts during flower. Some UV last 2 weeks. Kept a clone of the Brothers Grimm Truffles, C99#5 and #8. May do again after a taste. Grimm Truffles way nicer than the Grimm C99's.

I'd try Grimm Truffles seeds again. Would not try Brothers Grimm C99XX seeds again. The Grimm C99 did remind me abit of the original C99. The smell was lacking compared to the original. Weak branches like the original. Med to dense nugs. Short plants...not much stretch. Kinda slow veggers and some with slight mutations. Trifloliate, crinkle and variegation etc. Average THC covered nugs. Medium low yielders.



Trimmed the Grimm Truffles last as it makes the trim bowl sparkle.

Another 4 or 5 days in the veg tent. Then to the bloom room for final veg and flower. Day 26 from seed.

Smallest Grimm Truffles nug. Stick it the dehumidifier vent. Wake and bake tomorrow morning.

Dry time humidity 45-50% and temperature 70ish.

Very nicely done. I'm really looking forward to the smoke comparison between the Bros. Grimm C99 and the Blimburn. Thanks for sharing your work.

Thank you for the review! Original c99 was on my list for the longest time and none of the variations I've had seem close to that pineapple pheno. I saw they had some new released testers but wasn't sure how they would compare to the original parent stock.

Turfed the last 2 Brothers Grimm C99 clones. 5 and 8. Not what I'm looking for. Reminds me abit of the original. But not really close. Of the other C99's I have tried. It looked the closest to the original. But it is not even close to the original. The original had really dense buds. These are not really dense. Medium at best. Of all the recent C99 I have done. Nothing is really great. Females seeds version was by far the worst. The Grimm Truffles absolutely destroyed the Grimm C99xx. Kept a clone of the Truffles.

My Brothers Grimm C99 fun is over. I'm done posting here. Although I will answer any questions if there are any. Time to focus on the next round. Getting close to flower time. Out of the tent to the bloom room. Should be a nice grow 9. 3-gallons.

Smoked the Brothers Grimm C99 and its not too impressive. Taste on most of them ok. Below average yield and potency. The Truffles tastes pretty good. Chocolate and peanut butter. And a hint of cherry./strawberry Pressed a gram got 0.24g back. 200F for 2 minutes. Pretty decent.
